As we continue with the the Edgar Cayce’s “A Search for God” study group material, we are in book one lesson 7, Patience.
Spiritual attributes such as long-suffering and forbearing are how we test our level of patience. Through patience we learn to measure and test our faith while understanding our personal virtues. Patience is a test of our personal development.
Personally it is a challenge to allow others to do for me, because it requires me to practice patiences. I would rather just do it myself. Let us gain strength in practicing patience though this meditation.
How gracious is Thy presence in the earth, O Lord! Be Thou the guide, that we with patience may run the race which is set before us, looking to Thee, the Author, the Giver of light.
Daily meditation is a profound way to find clarity in your life. In this most recent series of meditations I am presenting the lessons from the “A Search for God” books. Having been a participating member of “A Search for God” group for many years, I have personally experienced tremendous growth from them in my spiritual life. These meditations are not a replacement for doing the actually lessons. I would strongly suggest participating in an “A Search for God” group in your area.
All meditations provided begin with prayers of protection and closing with the 23rd psalm as taught by Edgar Cayce. Although these meditations are short, they are very profound. This meditation may leave you slightly altered, so please do not drive or go to work immediately after completing. Be sure you are fully grounded before moving forward with your day.
